I am a Nutritional Therapist and Natural Foods Chef with a love of real food, grown and cooked simply. Due to my own ill health as a teenager I became interested in health and wellness at a young age. I first trained as a Nutritional Therapist at The Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health, gaining an in depth knowledge of food and lifestyle and how it effects our overall health. I then trained as a chef on the professional certificate course at Ballymaloe Cookery School, Co. Cork. Here I was immersed in their ethos that, 'good food comes from good soil'; dividing my time between the kitchen and their 100 acre organic farm. In recent years I have also trained as a yoga teacher (RYT 200hr) & reiki practitioner and I infuse these modalities into my one-on-one work with clients.
My recipes are a reflection of these experiences, inspired by nature and the seasons. My food aims to highlight the beauty and nourishing quality of natural foods.
I love to create modern recipe content featuring fresh, seasonal food along with beautiful styling & photography for brands with a similar ethos.
